We selected IB Consulting & Technologies to be our C,Op Provider because I had previous working experience with Miro since 2007, when he improved operation of the Hybrid Heating System at Four Seasons Hotel & Resort in Whistler. I wanted to use his expertise and professional approach in the building systems and apply it to Continuous Optimization at Four Seasons Hotel, Vancouver. During our Investigation phase IBCT improved our DDC system by creating trend logs and reports for each mechanical system and identified a number of energy saving opportunities '' Low hanging Fruit'' which we implemented and now see the savings and the benefit on the Hydro and Steam Bills. We are now are in the Implementation Phase of C,Op Program and we hired IBCT to oversee the Scope of work and the implementation process to ensure that all measures will be implemented properly and will provide maximum energy savings to the Hotel.

I have been working with Miro Kristof of IB Consulting and Technologies Ltd since 2008. More recently Miro approached me with a BC Hydro program called the Continuous Optimization Program. Knowing how Miro worked it was an easy choice to pick IB Consulting as our partner in this program. From the very beginning it has been easy to work with Miro, who shows dedication, professionalism and knowledge in every encounter. The reports generated have been detailed and accurate. I have also found that IB Consulting is readily available on phone or email to answer any question no matter how small. They were even willing to attend strata meetings to explain the CoP program and initiatives. When it came time for implementation of the energy conservation devices, mechanical, electrical, computer hardware and programming, IBCT was our first choice for that phase too and I am delighted with the results. We have even seen added benefit such as remote access to some systems and energy saving initiatives outside the CoP program.

Integration between PMS and DDC controlling HVAC in guest rooms, Statement by Claude Thibault, Director of Engineering:
I manage two Five Star Hotels in Whistler (Strata titled) with two different DDC Systems. For quite some time I wanted to integrate our systems with Property Management System (PMS) to automatically change Mode of Operation of HVAC systems installed in Guest Rooms in order to provide energy savings to the owners. After upgrading our PMS, IB Consulting provided complete solution at very competitive cost. Their solution not only provided link between PMS and DDC but put two different DDC systems on the same platform so now we can use a web interface to monitor all our systems. Furthermore energy savings were realized immediately after the system was installed, no question about it.
